Enter the Contest for a chance to win an iPad. No purchase is necessary. To enter, please visit www.fastappstore.com/win during the Contest Period (defined below) and complete the Contest entry form. In order to receive an entry into the Contest, entrants agree that Fastapp reserves the right to use the winner’s first name and city to be announced and posted on www.fastappstore.com. There is no cost associated with the contest. Limit of one (1) entry per person.
The Contest runs from 12:00:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on February 16th, 2010 to 11:59:59 p.m. ET on April 1st, 2010 (the "Contest Period"). The sponsor of the Contest is Fastapp Inc. ("Fastapp" or the "Sponsor").
There will be one (1) prize available to be won during the Contest consisting of one (1) an iPad.
Chances of winning are dependent on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable. All entrants are responsible for any applicable taxes in their country.
A random draw will be held in Toronto, Ontario, to select the prize winner. The draw will be held on April 1st, 2010. There will be one (1) prize winner. In order to be entered into the draw, eligible entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on April 1st, 2010 . FastApp Inc is not responsible for any lost, late, illegible, incomplete, falsified, destroyed or misdirected entries.
To be eligible to enter, at the time of entry an entrant must (1) be 18 years of age or older; (2) be a resident of earth; (3) have reached the age of majority in their province or country of residence; and (4) not be an employee, representative or agent of, or domiciled with an employee, representative or agent of, FastApp Inc. its affiliates, marketing and advertising agencies, suppliers or Contest judges.
By entering the Contest, all entrants agree (i) to be bound by the Contest Rules, which are subject to change without notice to Contest entrants individually, and (ii) that all decisions of the Contest judges are final and binding on all entrants and without appeal.
Attempts will be made to contact the selected entrant by telephone. In order to win, the selected entrant is required to correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by mail or telephone, sign and return a standard liability release and publicity release within 14 days of prize notification, and otherwise comply with the Contest Rules. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted or has not responded after three attempts within ten days of the first attempt made to contact him/her, is not eligible in accordance with the Contest Rules, does not correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question, does not sign and return any requested document within the specified time, or does not otherwise comply with the Contest Rules, the selected entrant will be disqualified and will not receive any prize. In this event, a new random draw to award the prize from among the remaining eligible entries received may be conducted, in the sole discretion of Sponsor, until such time as a winner is declared or there are no remaining eligible entries.
By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees and acknowledges that Fastapp Inc, their affiliates and advertising and promotions agencies, and each of their respective employees, officers, shareholders, representatives, directors and agents (collectively "Releasees") are not responsible for and shall not be liable for any injury or other damage to person or property of any kind or any other liability, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, from accessing, downloading or transmitting any material from the Contest website or is otherwise related to the Contest or prize. Entrants assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, relating to the Contest or prize. Releasees are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions which may limit the ability to participate in the Contest.
Online entries must be made by the original, manual keystrokes of the individual entrant. Use of mechanical assistance, form filling software or robotic assistance is prohibited. Proof of transmission of an entry does not constitute of proof of delivery or receipt by Sponsor. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted on the entry form at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet service provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value and to cancel, suspend or amend the Contest without prior notice at any time and for any reason. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with, or attempts to tamper with, the entry process or violates any of the Contest Rules. Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to seek damages or other remedies from any such person(s) responsible to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Personal data gathered by Fastapp Inc will be used to administer the Contest and as otherwise permitted or required by law. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form. All Contest entries become the property of FastApp and will not be acknowledged or returned. The Contest winner, by entering the Contest, consents to the use of his/her name, city of residence, comments, photograph, image and/or likeness, without further compensation, in any publicity carried out by FastApp in connection with the Contest. The Contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws. The Contest and the Contest Rules will be exclusively governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario. Any dispute arising hereunder shall be governed by the laws of Ontario and shall be adjudicated in the applicable court in Toronto, Ontario.
